Colne River Works

A series of River Works have been completed in the Colne area, ranging from fish passes, rock ramps and fish easements. We carried out some of these toward the end of the summer 2013 and are now back on site continuing with the agreed schemes.

There is also now flood defence work being carried out in conjunction to reduce flood risk. We have been actively involved in the design of these and instructed our own structural engineer to assist the Ribble Catchment Trust.
